1. I just realized I have a 10K in 9 days. Tonight I'm scheduled to do 4 miles at race pace. Eek. I wasn't really ready for that.
2. I meant to wake up early today and cycle for a bit. I fell asleep last night with a heating pad on my (still achy) back. I'm old. I didn't cycle.
3. Grab a glass, and toast... today, I'm wearing the Skinny Jeans. You know those jeans you keep, forever, even though they just do NOT fit any more, but you're convinced some day, they just might?
Today is the day. Jeans that fit me 20lbs and 1 kid ago.... Fit perfectly now....
Except around my quads. They're a little snug there...
There are worse problems to have.
Yay for skinny jeans! And just so you know, all pants are tight around my quads.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI have the jeans and shirt from when my engagment photos were taken and I hope to fit into them someday soon!

ReplyDeletesuck less!
Nice work getting into the skinny jeans!
ReplyDeleteThis has honestly never happened to me but then again I don't have any kids yet. Must be the most amazing feeling to fit into pre-baby jeans. Way to work it out.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the jeans!! That is a pretty sweet milestone / measuring stick.
ReplyDeleteLoved the picture too. You made sure to get all of the important parts in there. (The sandles, duh. what were you thinking?
I hope your back feels better...I agree, the core work should help your lower back too.
ReplyDeletei love when old clothes suddenly fit again! awesome.
ReplyDeletemaybe if the traffic isn't too awful i'll be able to make it on saturday, but i have a feeling i'm going to be mostly housebound this weekend. stupid carmageddon.
You are a machine with those numbers! Way to go.
ReplyDeletegreat job on your efforts. I love new "OLD" wardrobes :-) . OUTSTANDING PHOTOGRAPHY SKILLS !!
ReplyDeleteI will be going right by that area on Saturday at about 9:00 a.m. unfortunately it will be with a cycling team of about 20 plus riders. and about 25 miles or so into an 80 mile ride. Likely they won't stop :-(, but have a great day !
yay for skinny jeans. i've lost some weight recently and i've been enjoying going into my closet and putting on something that was too tight last summer and now its too loose. its a great feeling :)
ReplyDeleteps-good luck on your run :) :) :)
ReplyDelete9 days... which one? there is one in 9 days I was thinking of doing. City of Cypress, 7/23.
ReplyDeleteYay for skinny jeans! So, about 6 months after I finally gave up on my skinny pants and donated them, I decided to start counting calories and see why half marathon training resulted in 0 lbs lost. Well, turns out too many calories means, no lbs lost. Anyway, so, I had no skinny pants to go back to. Oh well!
WhooHoo for the skinny jeans!
ReplyDeleteIf it weren't for carmagedon, I'd be all over it.
ReplyDeleteCOngrats on the jeans! what a great feeling and your suck less program is obviously working!!!!
ReplyDeleteOld Skinny Jeans Rock! And your rack looks great too! lol
ReplyDeleteBitchin', you look stellar!
