I'm a mom. A reader. A sometime hiker. A wanna-be chef, an aspiring runner. I like tattoos, Indonesian food, Coach, pretending I can do Yoga, reading, preparing for the zombie apocolypse...
It'll come back. I'm going to brainstorm and see if I can help find a way to get it faster. Let's send out a search party in the meantime. Time is ticking! ..... I am supposed to be running right now. My mojo is sitting in my recliner.
ha! cartoon is hilarious! I'm so like this when something I've deemed important comes up...it's like I self destruct on purpose. If I knew how to fix it I'd let you know... but at least you know you aren't alone :)
From what I've read (as if I'd run more than a mile EVER ;0) ha) this is sorta one of those things that sneaks up on lots of people!! Hope you're back on the pavement again soon ;-)
I don't have a race coming up, but my running mojo has been missing too! I think it took a vacation this summer. Life is just so busy and full everyday! Hard to have a routine it seems. Sending running vibes your way!
Girl, you are not alone! I found your blog a few weeks ago and LOVE it! I, too, am running the Dis 1/2 for the 4th time next month and my dreams for a sub 2 PR are dwindling by the day. I've had to recover from 2 auto accidents, a sprained foot at Disneyland (IRONIC?) and general laziness as I had the summer off from work. I've been working out other ways with my Pure Barre classes almost daily, strength training at the gym and RIPPED class, but my running....not so bueno. I keep making excuses, etc but I'm in a slump. Also leaving tomorrow for 6 days in 109 degree Texas for business. I've also just signed up for TNT training for the Disney World full in Jan and would like to run with your daughter's name as my motivation. Would you be cool with that? We can get back to running and motivate each other! Would love to hear from you! I live in Torrance.
I hope you get it back before the race, but race day excitement will be there no matter what!
