A few weeks ago, I tried on a dress. It was at an Ann Taylor store. It might have been an Ann Taylor outlet? But I'm not sure that it was.
Anyway, the dress was RAD. Strapless, cotton knit, not jersey though. Black and white stripes, horizontal on top, and diagnoal on the bottom.
It was perfect. I don't know why I didn't buy it then, but now I WANT IT. And I can't find it. I've scoured AnnTaylor.com, and AnnTaylorLoft.com, ebay, and nothing. It disappeared :(
SO FRUSTRATING!! And, of course, now that I can't find it, I really, really want it. It's all in the thrill of the hunt.
Ebay had a TON of similar - and honestly, cuter - dresses. But those are too easy. I want the impossible.
Maybe I should enlist Sarah Soon To Be. I hear she's an expert shopper.
Off to hunt down a dress.....
Is this it?

If that's it, I can't find it for sale anymore, either, but here are more details about it. Maybe you could call an outlet and describe it?

haha hope you score the elusive dress!
ReplyDeleteGo Rose!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds (I haven't looked at the link yet) a lot like a dress I bought at American Eagle last month ... specifically to wear after the Disneyland Half Marathon this year!
Oh my gosh ... it IS a lot like the dress I bought. My stripes are a little thinner and more chaotic, but same idea. We can be twinsies!
ReplyDeleteIt's easier to buy it then take it back if you have buyer's remorse later than it is to track down one that you pass up. haha Hope you can get your hands on one!
ReplyDeleteHope you get it and we'll look forward to seeing lovely photos!
