I spent a decent amount of time in the pool Wednesday night.
Do you swim?
Because, I don't, and that isht is COMPLICATED. The breathing, the kicking, arms moving, eyes open, it's so many things to actively do at one time.
Running, you just.... go. You go forward. Swimming is just so... much.
The goggles I have figured out. But that foam thing? I don't get it.

Nice retro socks. I know what you mean about swimming, I'm not coordinated enough to do all those things with different parts of my body at once. And what are those foam things for anyway? Running is easy- just a bra and shoes, and you're set. Well, shorts would help too, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI do not swim...because you're right, it is very complicated. And I'm not a big fan of drowning, so I don't. In the famous words of Andre the Giant "I only doggy paddle."
ReplyDeleteSwimming is so hard!!! But, the right goggles will help a lot.
ReplyDeleteSwimming really is hard, but I always find that once I get into the habit, I stick with it and usually like it. Please send me daily reminders of this while I continue procrastinating in starting ;)
