So, I was trying to capture the half/full split from the Long Beach Half....
But captured the disaster that was my hair. I didn't even notice it until I looked at my pictures Monday. Side pony? Hmmm.... Maybe. Looks like it *could* be....
Want to see it for real?
....yeah. So, there's that, I guess.
And, seriously, that shirt got all bunched up in my belt. I broke the cardinal rule of racing and wore a belt for the first time. And I REALLY liked it. I just gotta figure out how to do it without ending up looking like Quasimodo. Noted, race belt.
Love the sparkle skirt! Are side ponytails out of style?!? CRAP!
ReplyDeleteYou'll show that race belt who's boss, next time, next time!
ReplyDeleteThe hair issue...is why I wear a hat all the time. I don't know how some of the bloggies do it, with the cute headbands and awesome race pics all. the time. isht, I'm jealous.
OOOOOO la- la!
ReplyDeleteTime to go check out those race pics, I guess :P
me too hat always...
ReplyDeleteand belt I wear the longest top I have and but the belt on my hip bones..so lower than waist
I wore a belt with my sparkle skirt and it didn't do so well either. Going to have to work on that because I love them both!
ReplyDeleteUgh, I hate belts... actually anything around my waist drives me nuts. I use gel to stick my hair back into a tight pony & then add a bondiband to keep any side hairs from making an appearance. Not fool proof, but keep my post-race photos OK... LOL
ReplyDeleteYou should have seen my post-Princess hair! From then on I ALWAYS braid it for races. Yours might start a trend!
ReplyDeleteI love race belts. I won my favorite one from this really awesome blogger girl. Giraffe or something like that. Some chick on the internets. ;)
Omg you are so funny! Congrats on your PR btw. I know you are not super psyched but you should be proud. Racing belts... The thought makes me think I am choking :)
ReplyDeleteI have the same belt issue! WHen you figure it out, let me know.
ReplyDeleteWhatever..you look great! and FIT!
ReplyDeleteI think you look great too! I always wear a race belt (or pack, depending on location & distance). If I didn't, I wouldn't have a place to put my keys. : )) Really do like the pic.
ReplyDeleteTry Sparkly Soul nonslip headbands. I had the same problem as you - and then I stumbled upon Sparkly Soul at an expo and they don't move an inch and look fabulous ;)
